Who We Are
NMEDA is the trade association representing mobility equipment dealers, manufacturers, and allied health professionals who serve people with disabilities. Our members provide adaptive vehicles, hand controls, lifts, scooter carriers, and other equipment that enable independence.
The NMEDA Quality Assurance Program (QAP) sets the standard for safe installation and service of adaptive mobility equipment, and the NMEDA Conference & Expo is where the industry gathers annually to advance that mission.
2027 marks another bold year for Ignite! Mobility, bringing dealers, allied health professionals, technicians, manufacturers, and advocates together in Orlando for the biggest week in adaptive mobility.

NMEDA Quality Assurance Program
The NMEDA Quality Assurance Program (QAP) is the only nationally recognized accreditation program for the adaptive mobility equipment and vehicle modification industry in North America. It sets the safety and quality benchmark the industry works to.
