When and where is the 2027 NMEDA Conference & Expo?
The conference runs January 21–24, 2027 at Rosen Shingle Creek, 9939 Universal Blvd, Orlando, FL 32819. Wednesday, January 21 is the pre-conference day. The main conference and expo run Thursday through Saturday, January 22–24.
Who should attend?
The conference is built for the whole adaptive mobility industry:
- Mobility equipment dealers, owners, and managers
- Manufacturers and suppliers
- Service technicians and installers
- Allied health professionals, OTs, PTs, and driver rehabilitation specialists
- Vocational rehabilitation counselors and agency staff
Do I have to be an NMEDA member to attend?
No. Non-members are welcome at every part of the conference. Members do pay a significantly lower registration rate, and if you join NMEDA as part of registering you get the new member rate. Compare the rates on the registration pages for your role.
When does registration open?
Registration opens September 18, 2026. Earlybird rates run through December 11, 2026, after which regular pricing applies.
Registration & Pricing

How do I register?
Registration is handled on the NMEDA registration site. Each attendee type has its own pricing page on this site with a link through to registration. Vocational rehabilitation attendees are the exception, they register using a downloadable form so it can route through agency approval.
What does my registration include?
Full conference registration covers all education sessions for your track, expo floor access, and the welcome reception. The Hall of Fame Banquet is ticketed separately. Technician training and the allied health pre-conference day are their own registrations, and both offer a combined rate that adds the main conference.
Is there a discount for sending multiple people from one dealership?
Yes. Dealer rates step down for each additional attendee from the same dealership, with separate rates for your second attendee, third through eighth, and ninth and beyond. Have your full attendee list ready when you register so the rates apply correctly.
Can I attend just one day?
Yes. Single day passes are available for dealers and industry members, at member and non-member rates. A banquet-only ticket is also available if you are joining just for Saturday evening.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms and deadlines are published on the registration site at the time of booking. If you need to transfer a registration to a colleague, contact Gary Baker and we will help.
Hotel & Travel

How do I book a room in the NMEDA block?
The discounted room block is available to registered attendees. Once you complete registration, your confirmation email includes the reservation link. The NMEDA nightly rate starts at $245.
When is the hotel booking deadline?
Tuesday, December 29, 2026, or until the block sells out, whichever comes first. Book early, the block does sell out.
Can I extend my stay at the conference rate?
Yes. The discounted rate is available up to three days before and three days after the event, subject to availability.
Which airport should I fly into, and be careful about ride-shares?
Orlando International Airport (MCO) is about 11 miles from the resort, roughly 15 to 20 minutes by car.
Important: give your driver the address, not the hotel name. There are three Rosen hotels in the Orlando area and two of them sit near each other on International Drive. Searching “Rosen” in Uber or Lyft has sent attendees to the wrong property. Confirm your destination reads 9939 Universal Blvd, Orlando, FL 32819 before you book the ride. The same goes for taxis and car services.
Are accessible rooms available?
Yes, though the hotel has a limited number of ADA rooms. All requests for ADA-compliant rooms, including roll-in showers, must be made when you reserve and are filled based on availability. Reserve early if you need one.
Education & CEUs

What are the dealer learning tracks?
Four parallel tracks run across the conference: Dealership Management, Dealer Sales & Marketing, Innovation & Evolution, and Service Shop Management. You are not locked into one, mix and match sessions freely across tracks.
Are CEU credits available?
Yes, CEU credits are offered for the allied health pre-conference and the vocational rehabilitation program. Specific credit amounts and accrediting bodies are confirmed closer to the event.
Do workshop seats fill up?
Some do. Hands-on technician workshops and clinical intensives have limited capacity and are first come, first served when you register. Popular sessions fill well before the event.
Is technician training separate from the main conference?
Technician training is a two-day hands-on program with its own registration. You can register for training alone, or choose the combined rate that adds the full conference and expo.

How do I exhibit or sponsor?
Booth space and sponsorship packages are outlined on the Sponsors & Exhibitors page. Contact Gary Baker for availability, pricing, and to reserve your space.
Is expo access included with registration?
Yes. Every full conference registration includes expo floor access. Single day passes include the expo on the day you attend.
On Site & Accessibility

Is the venue fully accessible?
Rosen Shingle Creek offers accessible rooms and facilities throughout the property, and the conference space is fully accessible. If you need specific accommodations, note them at registration or contact us directly so we can arrange them in advance.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes. Note your dietary needs when you register, vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies, and we will work with the venue. The earlier we know, the better we can accommodate.
What should I wear?
Business casual for education sessions and the expo floor. The Hall of Fame Banquet on Saturday evening is dressier, most attendees wear business or cocktail attire.
